Puppy/Dog Training
One to one pet dog training and small group training is available at our home, your home or at a local park (great for teaching recall on a long line). We incorporate obedience, searches, (which your dog will love) through to agility and lots lots more. One of the most popular arrears of training I am asked for is recall training. All our training is based on fun for your dog, for you and for all the family. At Bella Paws we encourage the whole family to be involved with your dogs training to give your puppy/dog the best possible start and balance throughout their life.
I have been teaching dog training for the last 3 years and have trained all my own dogs past and present. I do attend dog training classes on a regular basis including heelwork to music. I have completed a variety of Instructors courses including Initial, Intermediate, Advanced and Advanced Plus with Richard Clark (A judge on Dog Borstal) and owner/head trainer of Barking Mad dts and the very well known Mic Martin (Dog Borstal). The courses cover different methods of dog training and behavior from basic pet dog training to obedience and agility to working trials.
I am looking to continue with further instructor courses in dog sports i.e., Tracking, Gun Dog Training and lots more....
Dogs love to work and need stimulation. I enjoy teaching and watching dogs learn and hopefully have some fun along the way as well as the owners.
An initial 1-2hr consultation is advisable to discuss your requirements and to establish what you would like to achieve with your pets.
All one to one and group lessons are 1hr. We are also happy to offer 30mins and 45mins training as well. Refreshments are served with our compliments.
Please Note: Although my training incorporated a level of behavioral problems, I am not a behaviourist. If you are experiencing aggresive behavioral problems with your dog to either other dogs or adults/children, please seek advice from a specialist. Thank you.
