Home Boarding & Doggy Daycare
Home from Home Boarding is exactly how it sounds. Your dogs will live in our warm cozy home and will be treated as one of the family.
As our VIP guest (Very Important Pooch) your dog(s) will recieve exercise daily, feeding, fresh water, a large garden to run around in, play time, lots of affection and belly rubs and of course plenty of home luxuries. The only thing is, they may not want to go home.
You and your dog(s) are welcome to come to our home to meet our family, human and canine and most importantly view our home and see where your dog(s) will be staying. Please call to make an appointment.
Our home is set within 7 acres and is based in Thurrock’s lovely rural location of Fobbing. During their stay your dog(s) are welcome to join in the daily activities in our doggy day care centre, and there are plenty of country parks nearby for your dog(s) to enjoy and explore.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our home boarding and not the quatity of dogs we look after. We prefer to only board a small number of dogs at a time, this means your dog(s) will recieve all the care and attention they need.
Solo guest can stay with one of my team members, for that extra special touch. Ideal for dogs who are shy, timid, fearful or older dogs or dogs who prefer to be on their own.

Doggy Daycare @ Hugo’s Lodge
The first modern Doggy Daycare Centre originated in New York in 1987. Since then it’s popularity has grown and grown and doggy daycare centres all over the world are now in great demand. They provide a cage-free enviroment for dogs to play, interact and socialise under the supervision of trained staff/team members and all in a safe and contolled enviroment. The benefits to doggy daycare are that dog owners can continue with their busy work and family schedules and are happy to know their dogs are being exercised and stimulated on a daily basis during their absence.

License for Home Boarding
We are licensed by Thurrock Borough Council. The license allows us to have up to Six dogs to stay at our home for home boarding. Thurrock Borough Council will periodicall check to make sure our home meets the standards required for looking after dogs in our home. This includes safety, cleanliness, a secure garden, dog first aid kit, seperate cleaning area for food and drinking bowls, sealed food containers, fire extinguisher and smoke alarms.
PLEASE NOTE: Doggy Day Care is subject to availability. All payments must be made at the beginning of each week, not exeptions. Earlier drop off and later pick is available upon request and prior arrangement. There is no law or limit to the number of dogs you are allowed to care for under doggy day care, Unlike other companies offering the same service; we at Bella Paws do limit the number of dogs we look after for day care. This allows us to offer the best service around and give each dog the individual attention they need as spaces are limited and on a first come first serve basis.
