Dog Walking
We all know exercise is an essential part of your dogs daily routine and helps to keep them fit, healthy, happy, content and young at heart and most importantly help relieve boredom, chewing, stress and can help reduce other unwanted behavior such as barking. So why not treat your dog(s) to a group walk through nearby woods or Country Park or for that personal touch why not try our one to one walk around your local area.
We have individual walks for that personal touch giving your dog(s) our undivided attention. We find this ideal for nervous dogs and puppies as it allows them to build a bond with their walker and gain their trust. Allows more flexibility on the time of day you would like your dog(s) to be walked and can be for as little or as long as you would like.
Our group walks are great fun for your dog(s); we all know how much dogs love to have a run, chase a ball, explore, get muddy, play and interact with other dogs. If that sounds like your dog then he will love these walks. All our group walks are carried out in a professional and safe manner, and in small groups of up to 4 dogs with one handler. All dogs are of similar size, age and energy. Group walks are usually an hour, however sometimes we get a little carried away and walk even longer, no matter what the weather, rain or shine, wind or snow we don’t mind. For health and safety reasons groups up to 6 dogs are walked with two handlers.
We have slow pace walks for the more senior dogs or dogs with hip, joint or mobility problems, or fast energetic walks for the younger livelier dogs or the young at heart. We can walk your dog regularly, occasionally or even just once. We can reinforce any training with your dog(s), so you can come home to a relaxed and happy pooch. We take time and care when coming to your home to take your dog for a walk, and when we return we always make sure they have muddy paws wiped, fresh water and are settled before we leave.
All our walks are designed with your dog in mind, depending on size, breed, age and health. We do not recommend group walks for unneutered dogs or bitches while in season. Puppies are best walked individually but we are happy to take them on a small group walk if you prefer, as this is a vital stage in their development and an hours walk can be very tiring and can put strain on your puppies joints and development as he grows. Please see puppy care below for more information on puppy walking/visits.
